Statewide Transportation Improvement Program Priorities
Statewide Transportation Improvement Program Priorities
The OTO solicits transportation improvement projects from its member communities to prioritize for inclusion to the Missouri State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) on a yearly basis. The identified projects are scored using a set of criteria based on traffic data and other transportation-related information. The scored projects are evaluated by the Technical Planning Committee in coordination with MoDOT to provide an ordered list of priorities to include in the STIP based on projected funding levels. The project list is then submitted to the OTO Board of Directors for approval in early Fall to coincide with MoDOT's STIP selection process.
