To Discuss the metropolitan area transportation planning process and the effectiveness of that process
PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
On June 8 through 10, 2021, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will be visiting the Ozarks Transportation Organization (OTO) Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to discuss the metropolitan area transportation planning process and the effectiveness of that process. Discussions will include the Missouri Department of Transportation and City Utilities officials.
The FHWA and FTA conduct an MPO certification review every four years. The review evaluates the effectiveness of the MPO’s transportation planning process and verifies that the MPO is complying with federal regulations.
The FHWA and FTA want to hear from the community. A virtual public meeting is scheduled for this purpose on June 8, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A link to the meeting is provided below, or you may utilize the call-in number.
