IIJA/BIL Programs and Funding Opportunities

This page is a reference for member jurisdictions on Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) funding opportunities.

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), was signed into law by President Biden on November 15, 2021. The law authorizes $1.2 trillion for transportation and infrastructure spending with $550 billion of that figure going toward new investments and programs. The program is intended to repair, improve, and modernize the transportation infrastructure. In addition it includes funding for water systems and storage, broadband and internet, electric grid and clean-energy programs, environmental cleanup, and other programs.
