Local Coordinating Board for Transit
The Local Coordinating Board for Transit focuses on regional transit concerns.
The Local Coordinating Board for Transit (LCBT) focuses on issues of regional transit coordination and funding. The LCBT is an advisory board, reporting to the Board of Directors. Issues are analyzed through the lens of local human service providers.
The primary focus of the LCBT is conducting a competitive application process for FTA's Section 5310, Enhancing Mobility for Senior and Individuals with Disabilities, grant program. These funds can be used to purchase rolling stock for area human service agencies or to make improvements to CU-Transit's system that goes above and beyond the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
LCBT Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the second month of the Quarter at 3:00 pm.
