Transportation Forum

The Southwest Council of Governments and the Springfield Regional Economic Partnership are hosting a Transportation Forum, “How Small Communities Fund Transportation Projects” on Friday, 6/28/13 at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, from 8:30-noon, hosted by SMCOG (Southwest Missouri Council of Governments) and SREP (Springfield Regional Economic Partnership).

Featured speakers will be the following:
- Roberta Broeker, MoDOT CFO, speaking on Missouri Infrastructure Bank, Cost Share and Cost Share Economic Development Fund.
- Rick McConnell from Gilmore & Bell, speaking on TIF, Capital Improvement Sales Tax, Transporation Sales Tax, NID, and  CID
- Three, small communities who have used these programs and taxes.
